I'd say the opposite. A lot of my friends have either moved interstate or have come to Adelaide from another state… we may not do it as regularly as Americans may do but we don't have 50 states to choose from.
i wonder if it's just an eastern states thing as compared to the whole of WA. i know that my cousin had moved a few times between NSW and VIC. it seem like a lot coming from WA but it's probably not and that's because, like what you said there's not 50 state and it seems like ages away..

I very briefly moved to WA from SA back in 2011… safe to say I won't be doing that again haha

When you order new boots on Monday, the shipping label is printed and tracking is sent an hour later…. Then the package isn't dropped off at the post office for going on two days.

Happened to me recently. Ordered a bunch of stuff for a vacation trip more than a week in advance, with 2 day shipping chosen.
Arrived while I was on said vacation…

If I paid for faster shipping I definitely would have e-mailed by now. I suppose a better strategy for retailers would be to not send out "Your items been shipped" e-mails until the item has actually been shipped, not just had a label stuck to the box.

I’m a perfectly normal sized male. Why doesn’t Stevenson Overall make anything large enough to fit me whilst at the same time making things I like?!

@der:
„Froomey“ was/is up to his eyeballs in chemicals and will be eventually be Landis-ed.
@der Anschiss He's just another Lance Armstrong ? The asthma inhaler is just the tip of the iceberg you think?

The rest of the top ten would need to have their doctors with them as well. Every GC contender is juiced to the gills.

I read Tyler Hamiltons book a few years ago and in that he said, if you don't get on board with what the the rest of the peloton are doing, you may as well give up your cycling career.

That does not make it right…..And I am not on a moral crusade here. BUT:

I had an interview with a major technology company from Sydney in February. They replied yesterday, after three months, that I wasn't suited for the role, but were unable to provide feedback.
C'mon, if you don't want someone, at least reply quickly.
Thats a poor showing by them. The job interview process is so formal. The interviewer requires such a high level of formality from the interviewee. And then they break from that formality by not giving you an answer in a timely fashion or with enough information to keep that formality that they have required in the first place. Sorry Graeme. You deserved a proper timely reply

@Graeme it's bullshit. even if you had a large pool. 3-7 working days should be a professional standard. i understand it may be quite the work thinning out the unwanted. but 3 months. wow.
