IH-634-LB - Straight Cut Loom Breakers….
-
Beautiful!!
-
My wife bought me these brand new off the forum for surprise b-day gift.I love the feel of the fabric and the story behind the jeans, but I'm not positive how i feel about the straight leg (I understand that personal preference is a huge part of this).
The waist and upper block fit great.
I'm looking for opinions on how these fit overall.
thanks for any thoughts

I think they look good! More hem or another cuff might help the silhouette in the leg.
This duck is so crunchy, it doesn’t really settle like denim. At least, my pair hasn’t in about 15-20 wear days. The day I rode them cycling really helped lock in some creases, though. Take ‘em out in the saddle!

Hi @jordanscollected ,
this is a very special and unique gift of your wife. Congrats! As sabergirl and the Dion said:
The LB duck can’t be compared to IH-Denim.
Wash them frequently and they will soften up and fade wonderful!
But this duck will never drape like Denim (what I like).
If you and the LB can sit comfortable in the horse saddle, they will become your favorite riding pants, you can wear to work also. Or vice versa.
The straight legs take a backseat then ;). -
still drying. I'll wear them tomorrow.
First wash after a rather sweaty (in jeans) California vacation. -
Coming along fantastically well Jeff…......perfect Californian apparel I reckon.
What i expected was going to be 50 degree weather turned out to be in the 70's, so it was pretty hot. However I was expecting to wash after this trip, the heat just ensured it.
Cheers.

@jordanscollected what size is your pair? I like the relaxed fit.
-
These are a 36 in the straight cut. However we have a caveat…
My wife bought them for me and i then lost some weight and would probably fit a 34, hence the relaxed fit. I also had them tapered since i didn't realize they were going to be so Pipe Legged. I really like the fit as well even though they are a little baggy in the upper block.
Cheers

Great shots of your LB's @jordanscollected love the patch on these. always wondered what loom breakers were when you'd list them on the waywt thread.
-
I didn’t know either @RoxRocks86 , until I saw others posting. A couple years ago someone offered up a brand new pair on the forum, and my wife surprised me with them.
I know there aren’t many out there in the first place , but you’d think someone still has them in rotation. Lest we rename this “Jeff’s LB thread”.
-
God, they look so good @jordanscollected! Nice work. I was late to the game on this fabric and it kills me every time I see photos.
-
There’s been buzz lately about the fabric @Palmer, with discussions around the double
Indigo duck being ahead of its time. Thanks and I hope it gets made again, no leg twist here!

@jordanscollected Seems about right. You're basically the only one keeping this thread alive Just scrolled thru this thread & gotta say this is one helluva pair. Looks fantastic in all stages.
& your wife is awesome! Was this your first pair of IH bottoms?
