Hats and Beanies

As you’re likely to be tangling with heat as well as sun, I would go with some hiking and/or fishing outdoor boonie hat. I am going to be no help with brand for this, but if I were you I’d be looking a moisture-wicking/ fast-drying tech wear, not heavy cotton.

Not many of you guys seem to be into flat /ivy / newsboy / driver caps. Scalawags and Brixton are my two favourite brands so far.
I'm a fan. I have quite a few including at least one Brixton. Stetson make some good ones and Bugatti are a favourite as well. The latter appear to be an old man's brand who don't seem to have cottoned on to the fact that younger folks have adopted this kind of headwear. Really well made, great materials but a conservative style…
Me in my Brixton...
I just saw this reply now. Brixton makes decent hats for the price point, i have a few as well. Since i have discovered PN that is what i have been wearing, the collection is up to 4 now.

I’m a flat cap junky. If not at work then there isna good chance I am wearing one. Current favorites are the Wigens pub caps.

Otis James wool herringbone with indigo canvas brim. Looks really good with the camel kersey IMO!

Been wanting an Open Road for a while, but a felt hat in Florida doesn’t make a lot of sense…
Luckily, having the stockyards means tons of Stetson options during my Texas trip and snagged this:
I’ll probably wet and steam the brim to get it flat and then invert it for a few
Weeks to get that more traditional open road round look, but overall I really like it.And the wife is going to HATE it.

No man that’s a keeper. I’ve wanted something similar for a while and seeing yours is making my wish I would have bought one last spring. Great look, wear it with confidence and it’ll win her over.

Bought a nice red/white wool ball cap on sale from Ideal Cap Co. a while back. Came with a nice looking vintage patch from a less than ideal automaker (hint: it's one of the Big Three, and definitely the worst one but I'll let you decide which one that is :D). Replaced it with an IH patch and I must say it's a perfect match, almost looks like it could be a stock item (although the cap's construction isn't quite up to IH standard). Serves as a reminder that jeans, much like cars, may have been invented by Europeans but both were certainly perfected by the Japanese.

Finally getting my Navy wool MFSC watch cap shaped the way I like…
Hoping after a while it will get loss fitted like it’s olive brother
Really wish I could find a dead stock Naval Supply Edition Watch cap with the patch and stenciling…

Looks glorious ! I’d love to get one but I have zero clue how that sizing works, as I have not worn a fitted cap in decades

@appfaff exact same boat, and being in New Zealand makes exchanges very impractical. I’m pretty confident a medium would work but still a little hesitant. Definitely great looking caps though!!!
