When i was fishing with a buddy in Missouri he introduced me to "Strolling". Trolling isn't allowed in tournaments down there, but you need to let out a ton of line because the fish swim so deep due to extremely clear water, that you can't get down there effectively with casting.
instead of a traditional troll, you open your drag and drive the boat away from your lure for a hundred yards or so, stop the boat, close your bail and reel in.
There you have it… Strolling.

I’ve done that before, but didn’t know that it had a name. Personally, I’m not a fan of trolling and find it extremely boring. However, I’ve caught many salmon using it (deep water) and it has it’s time and place.
I would rather active fish, work an area, and move on if it’s not productive. Fishing is a great exercise in technique, bait selection, and pure dumb luck that when it works the rewards are great. Always learning and most of the time enjoying a great way of being outside.

That's really cool looking because it almost appears translucent. Like the Predator or something.

It is a Bonefish. It's nickname is The Ghost of the Flats, specifically because those scales reflect the surroundings. We fly fish for them and it is sight fishing. Part of the challenge of Bonefishing, is to actually see them, so you know where to cast your fly. The problem is that you see them one minute and the next they have completely and utterly melted away…..
