IHTL-1213 - Thermal Waffle Henley
-
Extra data appreciated @neph93 , I’m 6”1 so this helps! Looking forward to giving this top a go, I’m thinking it’ll be a versatile addition to my “minimalist” IH collection.
I'm not an adherent of minimalism in general and certainly not with regards to IH, but these are exceptionally comfortable, functional peices of clothing. Warm, well, made, tough but soft, they work great as sweaters or base layers. I have one of each colour and about five of the IHTL-1301's.

Safe to say I’m not an adherent out choice, but out of financial (and marital) necessity! Since I’ve discovered IH, I’m not really interested in buying anything else. If I wasn’t limited financially I would have an enormous collection
But since I am limited in what I can buy, I try to choose carefully and make sure the items I do get will be functional and see lots of use. -
I sized down to small once, and ended up thinking it was too tight, and short. The medium, I like, but large is where it’s at for comfort, IMO. I’m 6’1, 185lbs.

Great, I’m identical weight/height. I definitely don’t want this thing to be a skinny fit so a large sounds good to me also.

Just got in a grey Henley and a white thermal, sized down to medium from my normal large in basically all IH shirting, inudi g UHFs. Fit is awesome, a tick snug at the start but I expect some stretch. Quality of the fabric, as always, is awesome. Glad we've had some cooler days here in Annapolis so I get to wear it for a couple days.

Exactly how it should be. It is a small miracle the way the fabric stretches.

A few hours later the fit was on point, I think I've got a new "toss-on" favorite, and something I'll need to stop myself from buying in every color

I have two of each in every colour, but it is the foundation of my wardrobe. I use them on their own, under vests and as undershirts with UHF in the winter.

I think these might be the most worn item in my wardrobe

I flip flop wearing a t underneath, though I tend to wear a t under most things. I air dry them, though the fabric is so malleable I question how much damage a low temp machine dry could do.

I feel like going over bare skin would require more frequent washing lest the underarms get too spicy. I envisioned this being a single base layer but after getting my hands on them today I think over a tee is the way to go.
Unless anyone chimes in with bad dryer experiences I feel like a tumble could help put them back into shape after a wear and wash. They just arrived today and are wonderful. Can’t wait for some appropriate waffle weather.

@Matt I agree tumble drying would more or less just return them to their starting shape, ready to stretch back out through a few wears
