IH-463S - 21oz Selvedge Denim Sneaker Cut Jeans "The Boss Cut" - Indigo

So a pair of w36’s just showed up in the outlet. Looks like I too will be doubling up on these. The 5x5 program I’m on has seen be gain 2kg and most of it is on my thighs so the w34’s are getting a tad toight.
I was thinking about buying those too. Go get 'em.

Get them Neph93. Those are hard to come by. I see you do 5x5. Nice. I have been lifting since 11 years old. 7 of those competitively. Part of my life for so long, i cannot let it go. Makes it hard to get clothes that fit well though.

I saw those when they landed in the outlet knew they had Neph’s name all over them!!

I need a pair of 38s in my life!
-
I wonder if they’ll restock…. i feel lucky to have spotted these yesterday and made the decision to pick them up quickly. Looks like the profile of this cut is on a slow burn rising trajectory [emoji1]
@yannis I’m just into a return from a two year break. Normally I practice decent calorie discipline when lifting but I’m just focusing on form, progress and just turning up at the moment. As a result I’m bulking up quickly, while my waist is staying the same.
I’m also living out of a suitcase as I’m waiting on my new house to be finished, and only had my IH-463S, IH-555-SST and PIH10ANT with me. They all have around a 12.7” thigh and I need over 13” now [emoji23]. I was looking at some 634’s when this pair turned up. I’ll need to belt the waist but everything else should fit great.

@Giles. That is great. I will definitely get another tag 38 when the come in.
@ Neph93. I have a lot of 634's. Feom all of them the 18 oz vintage tends to be the slimmer. I think you will be able to manage that pair and it has a narrower hem opening also. I have the exact problem you have. I can take a tag 36 in the waist but the thigh will be beyond tight. My ideal size will be a 36 waist with the measurements of a tag 40 in the thigh. Lol. So 38 is the compromise. A little roomy at the waist and doable thigh. I was a competitive olympic weightlifter for Greece from 1977 till 1986. Now i live in the Us.. -
Oh well. I tried :D.
Any idea when the 19oz lefty will be introduced in other cuts? I read a thread a little while back that it was coming in other cuts besides the 666 and 634. -
I posted on the other thread you suggested. But yes. I was born in 1963 Athens Greece. The only summer Olympics i competed was Moscow 1980 during the boycott which did not really effect the level of weightlifting as in those times it was really dominated by the Eastern block countries and always China. I did compete in 2 European championships and a bunch of Balcan meets.

We received the samples last week, I would think at the end of this year we will see production. At the Crew BBQ last Thurs, @Graham was wearing one of the samples, hell they are hairy

This is my favorite Denim. By now the only fabric i have not tried from IH is the 14oz. The XSH is fabulous but there is something about that 19oz lefty that speaks to me.

Yes i do. Character and maybe a little old school nostalgia. My 634's oddly have not gotten much leg twist yet but still early. Only been washed once in 6 months. I sit on my ass most of the day at work so they dont get dirty.

I got a pair of these in size 34 during a sale last year, about the time that I put on a few kilos from the Covid lockdowns and coming off some medication…
I can just do the buttons up now, though I have a terrible muffin top, and they are very tight through the thighs. I need to lose another few kilos to get into them comfortably. I probably should avoid squatting too, though my back isn't enjoying that at the moment, so...

There are no 38's left, we just have 32, 33, and 34 coming….Sprry....
Giles, is there any chance we'll see any size 36 in the not too distant future? I'd really like to pick up a pair or two of these.
