Apologies, somehow I missed this. @Lowlander  is quite right, there is no chance any kind of wash will get you an inch of shrinkage. A lot of unsanforised denim will only shrink an inch in a leg of 36”. This shirt is sanforised and less than 36 in the body.

You may with very harsh treatment get half an inch. However if you do a 90C wash then tumble dry you risk screwing with the fabric and other measurements.

Show us a fit pic, I also agree with @DrPat that as long as the chest and shoulders fit then length is a more flexible metric.

For Your great feedback The shirt fit very well in shoulders and chest I won’t give it a harsh treatment in the washing machine for that 1/2 inch in length!

I'm out of the country, but on the basis that @Alex is an XL, I would be L or XL depending on what I intended to layer it with (which in my case would mean an L as I don't normally bother with much other than a T)

Hey I’m trying to judge a big order at the moment, I wanna snag a few chambray shirts and a few denim shirts will this and the OD version be re released with more sizes or is this it ?
I Wanna gauge the order in which I spread out the purchases, if they are limited I’ll snag them up first so I don’t miss out but If not the chambray is much more weather appropriate currently.

Awesome thanks ! That makes it much easier, I’ll save the two CPO shirts for down the road when it gets a tad cooler and the new UHF’s release!! This year is gonna be packed with IH goodies for me

@Lowlander is right. However, the only thing I would say is keep an eye on the stock of the CPO’s. If you are a popular size and sell out quickly you may be in for a long wait. Restocks of these tend to be reliant on new runs being ordered and made and that process can take half a year from when it starts, meaning you can end up with a very long wait.

Unexpected pickup earlier today. I was at the British Museum to see Nero and dropped into R&H afterwards as it’s just round the corner. Not what I thought I was looking for but it just spoke to me. Now hoping for cooler weather!
