Season 2 Episode 1 is LIVE - An Announcement from Giles!
-
Great first episode back, bittersweet news but big congratulations to @Giles, @Madame Buttonfly and @Alex
-
Now we can have IH X @Giles special versions right?
-
Great to have this back. More fun for Giles and Paula and trying not to wind Alex up (too much) sounds like a plan. Pleased to hear we will still see the legendary Giles forum replies :).
Two things really resonated with me. 1) Getting rid of stuff/identifying meaningful stuff to keep. It took me and my sister weeks to go through everything in my dad's study a few years back (although I did find documentary evidence confirming rumours that a much younger me was almost killed by a pair of red velvet curtains :D). 2) The boat thing - I remember being dragged round the London boat show several times in the 80s while my dad drooled over cruising catamarans (he never had the funds or opportunity to realise this dream, so great that it looks like it will happen for G & P).

Hey Giles when you are decluttering your house please keep your old pal Filthy in mind

Cool news. My father retired and moved onto a 31’ cape dory with two one eyed cats so he can live nearer to grandchildren and loves life on the boat. He was impressed recently with some scallop boats in New Bedford that have Ulstein bows, which look strange but are apparently very seaworthy. Best of luck with it all and it will be exciting to see the new developments of the brand.

Just listened to the latest IH podcast and Giles mentioned a mind-blowing shirt that was sold out at the pop-up. Can anyone let me know what this item is? Sounds pretty dope.
-
Heard it and wondered the same thing. Assuming it was an earlier version of the Johnny Cash?
-
It was not sold at the pop-up, it was sold at a SENY takeover about 8/10 years ago.
It was the IHSH-64
-
Damn all the reason for me to treasure mine. It's a shame that the place closed down because the fabric is absolutely incredible.

As mentioned elsewhere, I would still take a western in a lighter jersey variant such as what is used on the 1610.
