@popvulture it did wonders for me. basically 2 screws that move in opposite directions so when you twist the center rod they both extend and stretch your pants. You want to make sure you keep the front button on the wood part as it keeps it from busting or over stretching the button hole (shown in the photo incorrectly positioned on the stretcher).

I got 3/4" to 1" in my xhs, but I bet it could achieve more on a lighter denim. I started with a few, hours on the stretcher, then overnight, and now I just keep them on there tight when i'm not wearing them to get the most out of the stretch.

NICE. Thank you! That sounds very useful… I've definitely got a couple pairs that I'd like to maybe get a little more give in the waist, particularly a pair of 888s that fit amazingly everywhere else.

Heya Jeff!  Are you still using the stretcher or do you think that you got max stretch out of them?  The waist looks perfect in your picture, doesn't look tight at all.  Are they pretty comfortable throughout the day, now?
