I dunno, I think the veg tan looks really good when it gets out in the elements. I'd be much more inclined to get that out there than a black leather jacket, I'd say.

I understand the impulse, but honestly—clothes are for wearin’. If you can’t have them out in a little drizzle, what’s the point? But I feel the same way about washing and drying everything, so my attitude is always towards ease and laziness.

For sure. I'm more of a dweeb about washing and drying stuff, but I do think a leather jacket looks best when beat to shit.
