@Graham so the brown is more like a carhartt/Dickie’s brown.  Good to know and thanks for the posting re:sizing.  I’m torn as I’ve lost weight and now can wear 34’s comfortably in denim and thinking I may go for a 35 in these.  It’s great to read the discussion on sizing and everyone’s experiences.

love the IH-731 cut (the new relaxed style) in 34. I like chinos and cords loose, as in I can easily get a fist in between waistband and six pack  ;).  As another verified data point, with IH-888s-21od in 34 I can fit 2 cans of beer between waistband and six pack. Prob a bit looser than perfect, but than I dislike tight and top block and thigh size for mobility.

Is the fit close enough to go with same size as IH-731? Front rise is one inch less, rear and waist is the same and neither shrinks.

Lastly, a comparison of the beige and brown side by side would be superb. Leaning brown if ducky…

Are the numbers plentiful for each size or do we need to pull out all of our knife fighting skills in order to get a pair?

Not as plentiful as we would have liked because there was only a limited amount of fabric available…

Plentiful is such a beautifully vague adjective.....
