IH-463S - 21oz Selvedge Denim Sneaker Cut Jeans "The Boss Cut" - Indigo

Dude honestly. Your second pair that has a bit more room looks soooo much better to me. Its such a grown up look with tons of style….
I can only echo what’s already been said, here. Lookin’ real good, Reuben
I agree with you both entirely. The 5x5 weightlifting programme I’m on plus a slightly indiscriminate attitude to calories during our house move has rendered the other pair unwearable for now anyway, but I’m thoroughly enjoying a more relaxed fit, that still has shape to it.
I’m also wearing my bigger IH-666L-19 and my one pair of 634’s and loving it. Looks like I’ve finally grown up (as well as growing thicc [emoji1]).

because this thread can never have too many photos…

OK, finally, here are a few pics of the 463S that I got from @Appfaff. Not the greatest pics, but you can see how well they fit. My new pair is still a bit snug, but these are a great blend of trim but comfortable. Here they are with my Wesco 7500 boots (size 13):

Ok, one more shot of the 463S with my new Vanson jacket - oddly, this picture captures the fit of the 463S pretty well.
The jacket also arrived recently so I snapped a pic at the same time. It had some small customizations (longer arms and standard length wrist zips, two-way main zip) so it's been a 6 month process with shipping try-on jackets and such.

Both of you gents looking great. Its interesting how this cut looks flattering to so many different body types. That is what elevates this cut from good to great!
-
@Appfaff and @neph93, yours look great with the roomier fit. @yannis really nailed it - this cut somehow looks good on different body types, tighter or looser fits, and even significantly different personal styles. It works equally well with Reuben and Adam's casual styles as it does with my tendency to dress like a trucker from the late 70's.

Should I size up for these? I saw a reloved pair of these with a waist of 31 but my waist is a 30
-
I take the same size as in 634. Yes the thigh is a little more snug but that is the intension so you get a little flair.
-
Alright thanks, was asking since i saw it for a little cheaper then the normal price but didn’t know if it was worth sizing up
-
First day wearing @neph93's old pair. He sure gave these hell in that they shrunk up snug in the waist and thighs, but ended up great for me. Super underrated cut imo.
Feels like a 666 top block with a roomier thigh opening that tapers fast to the knee and gently flared out. So glad I snagged these. They may be cut for sneakers but work great with boots too. Edit to add, these fit super similar to my 666s-21 in the same tag size, both are 34.
-
Great fit!! I love this cut so much.
Interesting that you feel like it’s similar to the 666, though. I have never gotten along with the 666 and have to size up one or two to even be able to fit in them. In my experience something about the back rise and thighs makes these fit completely differently. Maybe like a 634 with a higher back rise.
-
Thanks, Ann!
Funny you mention the rises and you're spot on (as usual). These do feel a little different in that regard and I think you nailed it with saying its like a slightly higher rear rise 634. It's just enough for me that the rear stays put when i sit or bend over, unlike on my one pair of 634's which have a tendency to be pulled down from similar movements. I think I gravitated to saying it's more similar to the 666 than 634 top block mostly because of the narrower overall width at the hips.
-
Its a geat cut for sure. To me it feels like a 634 with a higher back rise and a slightly narrower knee measurement.

@pechelman glad they worked out! Here is the current state of their sized up replacements, after a wash. Forgive the shitty bathroom pics.
