Having replaced and changed a few buttons on IH gear, the only time I’ve needed to be careful is on UHF. Wabash, denim etc is no problem. The UHF went well too but the fabric does become porous much more easily.

Pretty sure they’re the 12mm. From the first post in the thread:

“12mm USD55 - Work shirt or top button of western shirt sized”

You’d struggle to get the 15mm through.
