WAKE UP AND COFFEE
-
My friend gave me some coffee of the Sidra varietal from Jardines del Eden in Colombia. They do a long anaerobic fermentation process. Some of their coffees are dry fermented with dehydrated mandarin skin and citric acid. Wild experimental producer!
Anyway it was amazing. At $40/200g it won’t be a regular for me but a total fruit bomb and a coffee I’ll never forget.

@mclaincausey Sounds awesome! So how did you prepare it, Filter / Espresso? Dialing in such expensive beans is always a thrill haha
-
My primary rigs are a Kalita and a Ratio Six. I do a Barazta grind set to 20 or 22.
Did the Kalita over a long narrow jar of ice.
For the Ratio I pour the carafe of brewed coffee over a cup of ice.

Guten Morgen ️

Ha.
Moin! -
Crispy cool session this morning! My post-ride reward.
-
Damn. Don’t know what’s nicer, the glass or the bike.
-
Thanks @weftyarn the bike is my holy grail and the glass is from notneutral. I have their cappuccino and cortado glasses, 2 of each, and they really class up the top of my espresso machine.

Found these beautiful handmade mugs on our weekend trip to Bayreuth.
Love the color and the simplicity. -
