IHSH-334-OD - Ultra Heavy Flannel Classic Check Work Shirt - Red Overdyed Black
For Fall/Winter ’22, we may have been a little overzealous in our UHF ordering, resulting in a surplus to demand. Instead of just leaving these shirts on the website to slowly sell through, we thought we’d try something a little more unique. Although we’ve overdyed flannel shirts before, this is the first time we’ve used a black sulphur dye - the same process used for our indigo overdyed black denim - on our UHF fabric.
Submerging the fully constructed shirt in black dye darkens and subdues the lively designs, creating a subtler variation without losing the essence of the original colour palette. Being a sulphur dye, the charred appearance will gradually lighten and patinate as the fabric ages, revealing more of the vibrant colours concealed within the weave.
Because this was a reactive fix, not a planned production, there are gaps in the size run where we sold out of some sizes before deciding to overdye them.

Fuck me
this one and the Sax have such nice threads...hard choice honestly.

Can someone travel to the future and upload images please?

The pops of color from the red stitching give me 90's jeans vibes. JNCO, I.O.U., and some of the PacSun brands had red accent stitching. This is a really unique IH one-off

These OD flannels are just badass.
Thought: wonder what red bar racking on high wear areas would look like if the rest of the threads were other colors.

Oo I like these ALOT
-
This one looks like Blackwatch almost to me
-
Wow. Didn't see this one coming. I really like. hmmmmm.

Hey! Like these. Any US stockists?
-
@harleysteen only IH UK and IH Germany are carrying these. But both ship free to the US.
