Changes to The Marketplace

How about an exception to the people that have spent a lot of money over the years with iron heart ?

So, making 20 posts over the years and being part of the community is not really asking a lot…...
But I do get it, some people don't feel comfortable posting, then the quid pro quo is the marketplace does not open up for them....

There’s no way to implement that on this software. Even if there was, we wouldn’t, because this isn’t about rewarding or penalising anyone. It’s about preventing an increasing issue with spam/scams.

I think you will toughen up more as you along
Otherwise it will weaken the forum system.
Plus there so many brain dead can’t read the rules..
For example Facebook clearly says no selling on Iron Heart group.
Still people breaking the rules..
You fuck with system you bring on your self.
Stay jail free…
How hard is that.

Thank you; would like to contribute more to forum. It is something I check delay. Have lots of great photos of iron gear that I love and is well worn. Just seems to be something I haven’t found the ability to put into my habit of routine. I do agree that this could make for a stronger Forum

I am new. Before the change, I sold 1 shirt and bought a bunch. I don't think 20 post requirements is not too much. It is free for everyone, so I am very happy to be here and will visit IH very often.
Date time stamps with user name and items for sale will help eliminate frauds. Buyers should exercise this even the forum does not require it.
Thank you

I personally think this is a great idea and support the tagging name with username and date to cut down on the amount of spam. I was finding the selling thread to be unwieldy as it was and way disproportionate in terms of people wanting to buy versus people trying to sell.

Seems resonable Recently found out about IH and already have picked up a few pieces, its a lovely brand and i love everything from the quality to the history to the fantastic style

Hi,
Silly question but how can I check how many posts I have?
I have visited the Gosport store 3 times and had great experiences alongside buying on the forum and listing a few items which eventually too.Maybe another way is to only allow IH items for sale or to charge a nominal one off fee to list?
Whilst I love my IH collection (Kersey shirt, 666 25oz, 666 21oz, 666 21od and 666 slub) I haven't really got any fade-worthy pics yet.
Other idea is to potentially run a referral scheme. New members can only join if an existing member can vouch for them.
Either way, I will get my 20 posts up (hopefully without clogging up to many threads) to allow my ocd of daily browsing to resume. FWIW items listed on the forum were always better described and better packaged than elsewhere.

I don't think the 20 post limit is too much and I am pretty new here. I have bought about 6 shirts and a Jacket, I am actually finding myself looking forward to posting some fade or even fit pics in the future.
This really is a great forum for advice and even "window shopping" to name but a few things.
The small post limit to access the Marketplace ain't that bad in the grand scheme of things.
