@neph93 I've bought red/black, yellow/black, and blue/black Jordan 1s purely to pair with the colourways of my favourite UHFs. Help me, I beg you, before it escalates even more out of control

You’re looking for help in entirely the wrong place mate. I have more pairs of Adidas than I can count for the same reason. When I picked up the IHSH-297-BLK last summer I had to find a pair of Superstars with red trim to match the lining of the arms [emoji3526]

I think that looks great, Mike. Not sure about the black hat/shoes with it. Sometimes I find black and indigo can clash, but depends on the shades
Can’t quite see Mike in a pair of fresh white sneaks, but it would be pretty boss.
Be careful with white sneakers and denim. If they’re too New Balance-y you wind up looking like Jerry Seinfeld. Not that there’s anything wrong with that…
Ok, that’s 4 Seinfeld references in my last two posts, I’ll see if I can go get a life now

Ooh, oh yes. Full grain leather Superstar 82s. You're talking. Have you seen the Rose Anvil YouTube channel? He cuts shoes and boots in half and reviews them. Not a bad thing to say about Superstars!

That's what I like. I cuffed that pair extra high so they don't drag on the ground.
I have a pair of white Nikes. But I don't really care for them too much. Not really my thing.

Motiv x Division road fit check. Feels a little snug in the lats but going to an XL would mean more space at the hem and a wider shoulder. I’m worries it would ruin the tailored look the piece is aiming for. Any opine is a helpful one [emoji3]Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Looks a bit snug to me as an outer. If layering underneath it seems good. The untucked shirt is going in the other direction of style though, as in the more formal tailored look of the vest might work better with an untucked shirt?

@Anesthetist I know your post is over 2 weeks old, but I just noticed that painting behind you. It's wonderful! You have great taste in art! I've noticed great pieces here and there when you post selfies around the house

I’m sorry guys, I read your feedback and got busy with non IH stuff. I decided to keep it and I think with a less blousy cut shirt (ie non work shirt) it works much better. Also loving that the outer fabric is fox bros and is amazing Thanks again for your responses and apologies for being so late!
Thank you @Paul9221 it is one of our favorites and it grabs the most compliments. It’s by Renea Raub-Ayers if you want to look her up.

First IH jacket, this 526J type3, fantastic jacket. I like to wear my jackets tight and short, but this time i wonder if i'ts not too short... Thoughts ?
-
Based on the sleeve length, I would say that you should size up. When the creases have settled in, the sleeve length will be even slightly shorter than it is now. As for the length of the jacket, it comes down to personal preference. While some prefer their Type III jackets to be shorter than others, I prefer mine to be at the waist line.
-
@VVV How does the jacket feel overall? I do personally love it and it’s the way that I would wear it, but @cityofdelusion has a point about the sleeves.
It wouldn’t bother me since I never button them, but they may be short as he suggested.
-
In the end it’s all about personal preferences but if i may be honest i would say size up. For example for the sleeves but also the overall length. You say you like the jacket tight and short so ask yourself the question.. is it to short and to tight even for your preferences? Also do you wanna layer it? Or are you good with a tee option only? in the end you need to wear it and need to be happy but my 2 cents would be that you are happier with a size up
-
I think it looks a bit short in the body and arm length I love a type 3 kinda short body fitted it’s a great look but from my experience if it’s uncomfortable ie sitting down bottomed up or it’s feels like a coarset I would size up,next size up would look right on your because you look like a big chap
-
There probably are wrong ways to wear a type III, but this ain't one of them
It all comes down to personal preference. That said, if I saw you on the street, I wouldn't point and laugh, i would give you a high five and compliment you on your phenomenal taste in denim jackets.
If you're comfortable, I can attest that it looks great!
Besides, everyone is going to be too distracted by your amazing hair to realize you're even wearing a jacket
