WAKE UP AND COFFEE

@motojobobo …and because I’m still working on my first cup of coffee, derailments and drifting are kind of anticipated in this thread.

I had a fun hour at the San Remo coffee machine showroom in London last week.
The YOU home machine is pretty impressive with its pressure profiling capabilities. Expensive but when compared to other machines it seems to offer a lot more features.

Rave Signature coffee beans FTW!
I have foregone the muffin - need to shed a few kilos!

Wow. What a great bean. I did a Kalita pour over yesterday and iced it, and using my Ratio brewer and pouring over ice didn’t lose much, so it is more than functional as a morning coffee for the wife and me.

I've always enjoyed coffee daily, but never really paid much attention to what I was drinking.
Walked into a nicer coffee shop this morning and ordered their special batch brew which came with a little info card. It was so nice to drink more mindfully, with knowledge and appreciation for the flavours I was tasting.
The candied orange really shone through seconds after swallowing.
This is gonna be my new Saturday morning ritual.

@ARNC Epic! I don’t have one of these (V60 usually), but looking forward to seeing how you get on.
I always fancied one of their huge syphons. ️

@Mister_Brue thanks. Still learning (and had a couple of disasters when I didn’t establish a good seal and got premature drawdown) but really glad I got it. The whole process is just fun.
If you’re looking to get one, the metal filter is much lower maintenance than the cloth one.
