@neph93 Right on! I've been enjoying the updates on the ToTTTTT thread these past few months, but have yet to properly dig into its murkier beginnings. Especially enjoyed @Megatron1505 's slice-of-life-Up-North postings from the jacket's more recent history.

Thank you sir @nurunuru

Thanks @neph93
This lefty twill trucker is a particular favorite. Even though it is lighter than the IH 21oz. This really is quite stiff and strong which I particularly like, probably tougher than the 21oz.
My other IH denim jacket is a type 2 in 18oz and single wash, which is a totally different beast to the lefty twill type 3. I think Pinkomo store in HELSINKI was the only place outside Japan to have stocked it, back a couple of summers ago. It is super soft, almost like a shirt more than a jacket, great for the warmer months.

Any day now, then, I guess. The excitement is palpable!
@Giles Are any retailers picking the jacket up this time around?
-
Copy that. Still looking like this month?

I thought I had read somewhere that the overdye process adds an ounce or two to the weight of the fabric much like the UHR is 21oz pre soak and 23oz post soak. Is there any truth in that @Giles or am I imagining things.
