IH-526-ODG "Party Jacket Tour"

526-ODG looks like a great fit on you @sabergirl
-
Definitely a great fit on you!
Side note:
How are the denim jacket tours still so active, and we're struggling to get any wear in this beauty?! lol! I don't own any IH denim jackets, so I don't know if it's just that they're more breathable or what, but I know it was nearly impossible to wear this IH-526-ODG during my "leg"…

That looks tasty.
I dig the Fiestaware, too.

Marcia made tortas for dinner, tonight:

This photo made me break a fast at 3am. I swore up and down that I wasn’t gonna eat when I got home from work. Up and down meant fuckall when I saw that sandwich. I blacked out and woke up in a pile of food packaging.

^ that made me lol @Matty123 [emoji23]
Sandwich looks boss @sabergirl
I had to Google tortas and am in the process of sourcing appropriate bread. One thing about Norway that sucks is that Norwegian bread is good, great even when bought from a proper baker, but international breads are rarely available and awful when you can get them. I haven’t had naan in this country outside of at an Indian restaurant since the first time 15 years ago. And what passes for focaccia is better suited to wiping your… you get the idea.

We do the same thing here, German/Austrian, Turkish and maybe French Bread are really good and widley available and thats it, everything als is a Pain in the Butt to find if you dont have a strong Community from that Country in the City.
That said I am pretty much a Bread Enthusiast, I could live of of Bread, Butter and Cheese.

Glad I could be of assistance. And I’m sorry to hear about the lack of tortas in Norway…. I’m located in the center of the Torta triangle where I live and work. Serious stuff. Google “Cemita” for more sandwich envy

I empathize, neph. One of the things I consistently praise about Houston is the breadth and depth of its international food scene. There are few, very few, places in the US where it's easier to find authentic, fresh foods from more countries. I loved the variety of the city.
Even though San Antonio is the seventh largest city in the US, it is utterly minor league in that regard.

We have a lot of mismatched brightly colored fiesta ware of all shapes and sizes. I've been grabbing it at thrift shops for years.
My wife buys it at flea markets, so ours is mismatched, too. I actually prefer it that way.
More colorful= more fun. -
Glad to hear everyone enjoyed that torta (almost) as much as me!! Nice collection, @Chris.
I feel as though I haven't been doing this tour much justice, I just have a sort of boring life. More food pics to come, at the very least.
If the tour slows down or doesn't add more people, I plan to do another leg in the colder months…

Nice hike location. Looks refreshing!

Visited my parents in their beautiful apartment, this afternoon, after work.
Then it was home to walk the dogs. Our neighborhood is an historic part of town, with lots of beautiful old houses, and a few amazing oak trees.
Pretty run-of-the-mill day.
The party jacket has been partying by itself in the back of the car, in this heat. Pretty soon I suppose I should put my mark on it to be sent on its way!
