A 60/40 cotton/linen mix fabric woven with natural coloured yarn, the face of the fabric is then printed with a black pigment dye. Once this classic western shirt is sewn, we one-wash it resulting in a slightly faded, washed-out finish.USD290

The indigo-dyed herringbone shirts (IHSH-165/T) had a bit of the same going on and the OD’ed gear comes in a bit «distressed» too. You’re right though, it’d different. I’m very keen.

To me this is the first piece that looks like it's been worn out of the bag though. All of my OD stuff just looked black upon arrival. The only clue was how the fabric reacted to being dipped (e.g., effects from asymmetric shrinkage between cotton fabric and polycotton constructional thread).
"Distressed" in quotes because it wasn't really distressed, just washed with a fugitive printed pigment. Not even garment dyed, but face dyed. Pretty interesting, creative, and distinct.
