(The Cool Kids All Wear) Band T-Shirts
-
Happy to see this thread going again. It’s warming up here so digging through storage for inevitable tshirt weather…
-1994 Moz The More You Ignore Me…
-1990 Sonic Youth
-1992 Danzig III bootleg(back of this is pretty ridiculous)

Not a big band shirt guy but I did grab this one. There was a lot of complaining about BF merchandising “hippie shit” and the merch dude goes “if you haven’t already bought the same fucking shirt we’ve been selling for 40 years then fuck you.” I should also note that Ginn is a deadhead and considers them to be punk AF. But I guess that takes all the fun out of tribalism and animosity.

@Graham I used to rehearse in the same building as Russian Circles and would frequently eavesdrop on rehearsals haha.

Rocking this Mobb Deep shirt doing errands today. Didn’t know this thread existed. Might have to share regularly, because 90% of my shirts are band shirts.

Can anyone recommend a place to buy higher quality band shirts? I had some in the past but they were always very thin and not well made

@FlavourFade @Matt turned me onto this site for vintage t’s: https://minorthread.com/

@FlavourFade rockabilia is good. I only ever buy non concert band tees though if I find reprints of ones I didn’t buy at a show I was at. Otherwise I almost always save it for show merch with a few rare exceptions like bands I may never get to see or def won’t get to see.

Fun fact about my ^ Oasis tee…. I had no idea I gave it to my buddy many, many years ago and he’s had it in a drawer ever since. I was meeting up with him yesterday now that we’re back in town and asked if he had my signed Liam picture that I gave him to hold while I was traveling and he said he also had the shirt. I couldn’t believe it.
