Iron Heart Products - What do you think we should make?
-
For people who don't care that much about denim the 21 oz and the 25 oz might even look alike from a distance but they are completely different beasts with their own characteristics. I love both and for me they both represent Iron Heart at its best. While both are heavyweight denims the XHS makes the 21 oz feel even lighter than it actually is in comparison. The appearance of an XHS vest is a good sign that The Boss might bless us with an XHS jacket one day and that he loves the idea as well.

Are there by any chance any plans for a rerun of the IHW-13-GRY/BLK or something similar to it? ::)
Unfortunately those jackets were produced shortly before I discovered IH which is why I couldn't get one. I feel like those jackets are extremely functional, warm and robust. I would love to see (something like) it reappear.
Also I have never seen anyone sell one in size small which is why I couldn't get my hands on it. Even tried posting in the WTB section

As a general rule, anything that ends up in the Outlet won’t be re-made/restocked. That being said the jacket came out in early spring when it’s season was over. This is perhaps a reason for it’s underwhelming sales. This is a real shame as it is an incredible jacket. Very well made and designed and functions wonderfully in the cold.
IH Melton wool jackets come out relatively often by which I mean they are not unusual to find in AW collections. There are two due out in October, a pea coat and duffel coat, but no M65’s in any material. There are also som Primaloft coats/jackets coming which look very promising indeed.
Good luck with the wtb post. I don’t think there were more than two or three in small, in each colour for sale so they are really quite rare in that size.

They did arrive super late in the season (Dec I think) and we were let down by a retailer who did not pay us, so we did not ship the ones he ordered to him. The end result is that we had many more than we wanted and we had missed the main selling season. We ended up reducing them by a lot, they are one of my bêtes noires and I'd rather commit hari-kari then stock them again….Sorry...

The only designs that appeal to me, when it comes to wool coats that is, is either the M65 or something like a university coat. When it comes to wool coats, I like them to be approximately up to the half of my thighs in length. The duffle coat for example therefore is rather unappealing.
I also dislike asymmetric designs in general such as the pea coat because of the double row button. To me, the M65 was extremely functional due to the amount of pockets and the hidden hood it had amongst other things.
Generally, selling or buying used IH items on the forums or anywhere else has proven to be a super difficult task as size small seems to truly be a rare size to ask for and sell.

I didn't know the story behind that. From a business point of view it absolutely makes sense that you'd want to invest in other potentially more successful releases than on something you've had bad experience with. For what it's worth, I'm convinced that those coats
arewere one of the best winter releases of IH and definitely had the potential of being the most favourite winter jacket of the majority of the people if that retailer hadn't spoiled it for you (and for us) :'(. -
Buy her one of these at the same time - you're all good…..

Y'know, if the pound continues on its current trend, that bag might actually be affordable soon…

The wool M65 has a placket covering the zip that is off centre if that helps you get over your loss…
The way the size curve works means that size small is the always the one with the smallest amount of stock. There are far less small UHF's out there than XL's for example. There are two benefits to that though. Small sizes and often hang around longest often pop up in The Outlet despite the low initial numbers. I can promise you that being XL is a mixed blessing. Lots of stock but it sells out quickly in the popular lines.

Pea coats, being double-breasted, are entirely symmetrical.
M65s never are because they have a placket flap that has to move one way or the other to allow zipper access.
Perhaps I am missing something here.

I am referring to how they look when they're fully zipped/ buttoned…

How about a Wrangler 24MJZ-style jacket like Brad Pitt's got in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood?

Yeah would love this. Maybe in a different color or fabric too to separate it from the others? Indigo would be awesome too tho.

Are these coming to IH UK?
