Iron Heart Products - What do you think we should make?

Have you ever offered tall sizes for shirts or jackets? I love your stuff but if I wore an XL for the length I'd be swimming in it.

It hasn’t been done before, but it was mentioned as being under consideration a few months ago. Where that is at now, I don’t know.

It is something that is under consideration.
The main issue is that as a brand, we are not really large enough to offer multiple cuts in a style.
I'm sure someone will point me to a brand that is smaller than we are, who do that, but if they do, their business/production model is different from ours and/or they don't care about being profitable. We care very much about being profitable because that allows us to grow and experiment. But we have to do it a considered, manageable, least-risk way.
So we do stuff like this slowly and when we think it makes sense for the brand. We introduced 4XL recently and may start making some tops in 5XL soon. We are going to offer longer version of some t-shirts soon, so that we have a better match for more body types.
We will continue to consider making long versions of some items, but it is complicated and high risk, so it needs to be very carefully thought through.

…Haraki said during a discussion about moving the brand forward "I have decided that I will start making stuff that our customers want, not just what I like"...
Awwww shit! Chances for a brown duck wallet happening in the future just increased a very small percentage.

All leather goods (wallets and bags) should be made in denim… standard 21oz, SuperBlack, and/or SBG.
Not that the leather items aren't gorgeous!
But.....
The leather goods come at a serious premium.
A SuperBlack or SBG (even duck.....) IHE-40 would sell like crazy, imo.
SBG or standard 21oz wallets would, as well.....
Hell, even a 2-3 layer denim belt (even non-selvedge) would be a no-brainer buy!!!

Agreed on the duck wallet. It would be great from IH. Here’s mine from New Orleans based Damn Dog with 3 years of use

@adam313 I used to travel with my coaster all the time. Now that they are an IH rarity I guard it with my life [emoji15]

Forever grateful to @derivative666 for mine. I would love to have a whole set.
It'd be kinda cool if there were ones made of different fabrics but I know that'd be asking a lot versus the 21oz/chambray.

@Giles Thanks for the very honest and detailed reply regarding tall sizes. I'll keep my eyes peeled in case you do decide to try something!

C'mon guys, stop pulling the strings on my emotions like this

I have enough denim scraps to build a fleet of square coasters….. I just might have to do it!

I saved all my cut-offs from hemming. Might have to too

You could sew in a waterproof layer or apply DWR to it too if you wanted to ensure that no moisture penetrates it and gets to whatever's underneath the coaster.

How about a IHSH 33 or workshirt cut in the new 14oz Iindigo×black or black X black?
