Hi, first time post here.
I bought this jacket a few months ago and I'm curious if anyone else has had a similar experience with the fit. I'm 5 9, 155 lbs 30 waist. I bought a medium (38) and the jacket fits me great in the chest/shoulders/length/waist, enough to wear a small layer under if I want. However, the forearms and elbows of the sleeves are tighter than any jacket I've worn. Bending the arms or holding them forward squeezes the hell out of my forearms and inside elbow. Painful! I've even got the arms wet and wore it to stretch them but that didn't really work. Probably worn the jacket about a dozen times. I looked at the size chart and realized this jacket is at least .2in smaller in the sleeve measurement than any other jacket on the site. I have the 21oz vest that I wear almost everyday in a 38 also which obviously doesn't have the sleeve problem lol.. I don't have huge arms or wrists.Any thoughts? Do the sleeves stretch? Maybe I'm posting this is the wrong spot.
Thanks! -Joe -

Thanks! -JoeThe sleeves will loosen with wear as Alex says. The 18oz vintage denim does have some flex to it.
Slim arms of IH jackets of this type are not unusual. The idea is that they reduce wind resistance when riding.
I would consider soaking for half an hour in soapy water. Wearing for a while then rinsing. Soap/detergent will lubrication the fabric.
If you have access to the right materials then shoving a bit of piping in the armhole while wet, then letting them dry, would work. It would have the be just the right diameter though, so maybe a bit of a stretch (no pun intended).
Otherwise, embrace your inner masochist and just wear it. They’ll loosen up eventually.

Hi @Acerolaplus my thoughts are if maybe you have a heavy sweater or thermal long-sleeved shirt to wear under it and let that pad your elbow area and wear it might help. I can't really suggest any mechanical means of stretching the sleeves out because of the taper on the sleeves…
I think if you just keep wearing it eventually it will get better. You're sure to get some awesome honeycombs where your arms bend.

Thank you for the replies!

This right here^^
I have a Pronto Type I the sleeves were like tourniquets. They gave it up. In the end they all give up

@Daniel San check out the CPO in this denim for an idea on fades https://www.ironheart.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=15942.30
And there’s also all the usual cuts of jeans in the same denim
