Fall/Winter 2016 Pipeline

Thanks for leading me to this thread, Giles.
Surprised that the items that I am most excited about aren't plaid or flannel: the military and Wool/Satin work shirts are at the top of my list.
For those that have handled the 14oz paper denim: Is it similar to that of SC Okinawa?
-
No. It's a completely different animal. The SC is a rough textured denim with a load of weft texture, the Yenim has virtually no weft show through.
In fact there is nothing to compare it with…..

IHJ-51.
Funnily, the other day I was watching the original movie 3:10 to Yuma, (w/ Glenn Ford). He happened to be wearing a take on the Levis 507XX, but I believe it was made out of corduroy. Nice.
I was wondering/hoping when IH would do this. The IHJ-51 is a very nice jacket.
Edit: It looks like a cross between the 506xx & 507xx, (Type1 & Type2). The 506xx having the cinch back & one front pocket, & the 507xx having two front pockets, & no cinch back.
Personally, I'm not a big fan of denim jackets. However, if that IHJ-51 came out in other material(s), well that's another story. -
Too much great stuff. At least 5 must haves.
@giles: are you bringing the IHJ49 over? and will the SH156 be really black or rather Grey (I thought there was only a grey solid UHF being made)?

It's dark grey

Thanks! That IHJ49…guess it'll ruin my (non existant) wedding budget.

So I am sorry to sound ignorant, but I am trying to educate myself on IH model numbers. The denim numbers all make sense to me, but I am specifically looking to further understand the difference in model numbers for this years UHFs.
My main question is why do the recently released Western BB UHF have a model number of "101" but the upcoming Red, Green, and Red Western UHF have a model number of "127"?
Is this due to colors? Materials? Date of release?
Again, sorry to sound like a newbie, but I am just trying to better understand this process so I can be more informed.
Thanks all!
-
101 = Giles Exclusive Colors (Started with the purps)
127 = re-re-re-release of the 72 And the 72 was available in JP and INT. The 72 is no more, but they decided to keep the 127 in stock because Buffalo Checks are always a good idea. -
So I am sorry to sound ignorant….

Also, I don't think you sound ignorant or like a noob, and I love the nerdy side of this brand. You're basically on the path to being an IH geek and I applaud that!

Thanks so much guys! I appreciate the information regarding this. I am a bit nerdy(proudly so), but ever since I found IH, I am pretty much obsessed with this brand for so many reasons…treatment of producers/workers, sustainability of manufacture, style, materials, quality, etc, etc, etc
I know I am not alone in this
Thanks again for the schooling!
